About your guide, Levan
Levan comes from Dedoplistskaro - the nearest town to Vashlovani National Park. He is a geographer with a passionate love of bird watching and photography. Being a park's resource management specialist for five years, he has a good knowledge of specifics and key points of Vashlovani.
Where we will be
Vashlovani is notable for its unique, badland landscapes, semi-desert and steppe vegetation, savanna-like arid forests and amazing wildlife.
Vashlovani National Park is under protection since 1935. It is situated in southeastern Georgia, close to the Azerbaijan border.
What we’ll do
Driving off road, hiking, camping, and watching wildlife. If lucky, we might encounter a brown bear, gazelle, wolf, wild boar, jackal, porcupine, and lynx. Also small mammals, various bird species and reptiles will be available for observation during this trip.
We will discover Savanna-like light forest, walk in former sea bottom, follow mammal’s footprints and prints of paleo-fauna.
The tour includes
Complete transport service, the guide service, accommodation in bungalows, breakfast, lunch and dinner, drinking and technical water, binoculars, first aid kit, luggage storage.
Trip best if taken
From March through November.
Language of the trip
English, Russian, or Georgian.
There is scarcity of water. We will provide drinking and technical water. But if you feel comfortable with purifier, please bring it along.
Minimum 2 and maximum 12 participants.
Paperwork: You'll be asked to sign a waiver form. Please let us know if you are pregnant or have any health and dietary restrictions.
Age: Children under 12 years old are not allowed to take the trip.
