Where we will be

This is one of the most interesting and scenic trekking tours in Georgia taking you to some of the most remote inaccessible mountain areas of the Caucasus.

Tusheti - a land hidden deep in the Caucasus Mountains with ancient - towers, mountaintop castles, and stone shrines, all nested in picturesque alpine sceneries.

Tusheti National Park is located on the northern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains.

What we’ll do

We will be trekking, exploring different glaciers and peaks, walking tours to local ancient towers and villages. We will move between nature zones of dense forests, alpine meadows with endemic flowers, and snow capped mountains including Diklo, Komito and Tebulo - some of the highest summits of the Eastern Caucasus. The villages are nestled in deep valleys and are very picturesque with their stone architecture. From Tusheti we will cross Atsunta Pass at 3430m down to Khevsureti, where we will trek through narrow gorges and visit medieval villages of Ardoti, Mutso and Shatili. We will sleep in tents and village houses. We will be trekking from 4 to 8 hours a day.
