About your guide, Beka
Beka comes from the village of Mulakhi in Svaneti. He serves as a mountaineering, trekking and skiing guide. As a graduate of the International Mountain Guide School Evri, he has climbed the highest peaks of the Greater Caucasus, and is a multiple winner of the National rock climbing championship. He is also a certified skiing and ski tour instructor with nine years of experience.
Where we will be
Svaneti, in the northwestern part of the Caucasus Mountain Range, is one of the most authentic and beautiful regions of Georgia. You will find yourself in the realm of the magnificent, permanently white peaks of Shkhara (5068m), Tetnuldi (4617m) and Ushba (4700m).
Svaneti is the highest inhabited area in the Caucasus!
We will experience the unique local culture in the untouched villages of Mazeri, Adishi, Latali, Lenjeri and Usguli (2200m). This is a UNESCO world heritage site.
What we’ll do
Trekking, checking out different glaciers and peaks, walking tour of the local ancient towers, and visit villages located under the highest peaks of the Caucasus.
The tour includes

Trip best if taken
From May through October.

English, Russian, or Georgian.
Nota Bene
Please dress in layers. The weather changes abruptly in the mountains.
Group size
Minimum one and maximum 20 participants.
Requirements
Paperwork: Signed waivers will be required. Please let us know in advance if you are pregnant or have any health or dietary restrictions.
Age: Children under 12 years old are not allowed to take the trip.
Equipment: Hiking shoes, trekking poles and sleeping bags, tents.
