Where we will be

We will visit Kakheti region - old Telavi, Alaverdi Monastery, Gremi, Winery Khareba, Signaghi and Bodbe Monastery.

A short walk through charming streets of old Telavi.

Telavi food Market - fresh vegetable and spice market. Taste and get your favorite Georgian spices here barberry, sumakhi, cumin, adjika, swan salt etc.

Alaverdi Monastery is a Georgian Eastern Orthodox monastery located 25 km from Akhmeta, in the Kakheti region of Eastern Georgia. The monastery was built in the 6th century and is the second tallest religious building in Georgia, Included in the UNESCO tentative list.

Gremi is a 16th-century architectural monument – the royal citadel and the Church of the Archangels – in Kakheti, Georgia.

We will visit a big recreational park at Winery Khareba, which includes the river and old Qvevries, as well as a Georgian water mill, traditional Georgian bakery “Tone”, a Chacha (grappa) distilling facility, a traditional Georgian marani (wine cellar) with the Satsnakheli (Georgian traditional wooden grape press) and other cultural sites.

Signaghi, the city of love. We will walk in the streets of Signaghi and visit the Museum of History and Ethnography. On the first floor of the museum you can see the ancient Georgian martial and household items. Ranging from the Stone Age, the 20th century ended. On the second floor are paintings by Niko Pirosmani and other artists.

Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino. The monastery is the first Christian religious buildings in Georgia. Now in the church of St. Nino kept several historical finds - a bowl, dating from the first century AD, the medieval monastery bell, as well as more recent discoveries. Bodbe Monastery is an amazing holy place to visit. With lots of positive energy attracting towards itself, amidst beautiful surroundings.
