Khevsureti and Kazbegi
3 days / 2 nights
About your guide, Giorgi
Where we will be
The well-known trail connecting Khevsureti with the Kazbegi region. This route is majestic due to the proximity of the imposing Chaukhi massif with its seven sharp peaks. The trek scales the 3431-meter high Chaukhi pass. The area of Khevsureti contains meadows with unique rock formations, known as Roshka stones, and the Abudelauri lakes—three beautiful alpine lakes of differing colors (green, blue and white).
What we’ll do
Traveling via car, mountaineering, camping, exploring glaciers and mountain peaks, and touring ancient towers and villages. We will visit villages such as Kazbegi (Stepantsminda), the Roshka and Abudelauri lakes, and the Gergeti (Holy Trinity) church. On the way back we will visit the scenic Dariali gorge via the Georgian military highway and the Ananuri monastery. We will sleep in tents and guesthouses. We will be trekking from 4 to 8 hours a day.
The tour includes
