Where we will be

We will visit Martvily Canyon, Okatse Canyon, Kinchkha Waterfall and Nokalakevi fortress.

Okatse Canyon is located 50 km from Kutaisi and about 300 km from Tbilisi. In Okatse you have to walk around 5 km. A deep gorge surrounded by magnificent mountains with emerald water and waterfalls below. There is a walking platform on one of the rocky walls enabling you to see the beauty of the canyon itself and the area.

Martvili Canyon is located 25 km from Okatse Canyon. Martvili Canyon has walking paths and bridges on the canyon and river into the canyon where you can have canoeing for an extra fee.

Kinchkha is one of the tallest and most beautiful waterfalls in Georgia. It is 3 steps waterfall and the tallest one is more than 70 meters. The best visiting time is spring, when water levels are high, but the view is enjoybale all year round, and in summer you can cool down with a swim in the waters. Kinchkha waterfall is located 7km from Okatse Canyon. You have to walk 1km to reach the waterfalls.

Nokalakevi is an archaeological site consisting of the remains of 4-6th century A.D fortress in the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region of Georgia. Occupying some 20 ha, the site was known to early Byzantine historians as Archaeopolis, and to Georgian chroniclers as Tsikhegoji (“Fortress of Kuji”).
